Perspectives Course

Perspectives is a fifteen-lesson education course exploring different aspects of God’s global purpose in a multi-faceted learning experience. The course examines the story of God fulfilling His promises from four vantage points or “perspectives” — Biblical, Historical, Cultural, and Strategic. The Biblical and Historical sections establish the foundation of our confidence in the historic fact of God’s persistent work to make His name known to the nations from the dawn of history until today. The Cultural and Strategic sections highlight that we are in the midst of a costly but very “do-able” task. These sections confirm the Biblical and Historical hope we have with the invitation to co-labor with God in His mission.

Perspectives is an awe-inspiring comprehensive course that has profoundly impacted hundreds of thousands of students during the past 45+ years. From Genesis to the prophets, Jesus to the early Church, and St. Augustine to the present, students learn how God moves, how the global Church responds, and the remaining task of world evangelization. Perspectives isn’t a course solely about world missions. It’s a study program rooted in Scripture clarifying each believer’s remarkable opportunity to co-labor with God in His global purpose.

You have an integral role to play in God’s story. He delights when His people respond to His invitation to be a blessing to all the peoples of the earth. Experience God’s heart for the nations and encounter the momentum of the World Christian movement through Perspectives.

ONE:ONE DISCIPLESHIP TRAINING

Jesus made disciples through intentional conversations with people. Though he taught hundreds, and met with dozens, he devoted the majority of his time to forming his 12 disciples. Many of his conversations were 1 on 1.

We follow Jesus’ example by intentionally engaging with others in 1 on 1 conversations in order to help them become Fully Devoted Disciples of Jesus.

Our next ONE:ONE DISCIPLESHIP Training will be on Sunday, April 28 following the 11am gathering in the Great Room.

Lunch will be provided.

Project Students: Belize Mission Trip

“For from the rising of the sun to its setting, my name will be great among the nations...for my name will be great among the nations, says the Lord of hosts.” - Malachi 1:11

Parents and students (completed 8th-12th at the end of the 2023-2024 school year) are invited to Belize for an opportunity to serve Jesus and experience His Church in a different context! The villages of San Joaquin, Ranchito, and San Victor (located in northern Belize) are where we will spend our time. This week will include worshiping with the local church, teaching the gospel to children through VBS and sports camp, helping with various construction projects, loving the elderly, and meeting some of the physical needs of those in the area.

Belize is a country with great spiritual and physical needs with 41% of the population below the poverty line. Belize is a safe, democratic nation with English as it's official language and is a great 101 international journey for students.

For fun on the last day, the team will travel via water taxi to the island of Caye Calker in order to snorkel the barrier reef, eat seafood on the beach, and debrief the trip while overlooking the Caribbean Sea.

Pray for the Nations

Pray for the Nations

The God who created the heavens and the earth tells us to pray. And He listens to our prayers.

When we come together to Pray for the Nations, we intentionally push pause on the hustle of our day-to-day lives in order to spend unhurried time together in prayer for the unreached and for the persecuted around the world.

We want to see a movement of the gospel of Jesus across the streets of our neighborhoods, to the ends of the earth. Join us as we start from a place of prayer.

“The history of missions is the history of answered prayer.”
